Aggie Kemmerer -Staff Accountant

AggieAggie is originally from Stockholm, Sweden and came to the U.S. in 1995. She has been a part of the Storm-Larsen team since 2007. She has nearly 4 years of experience working with the accountants in our office. After training in all areas, Aggie is currently responsible for preparing 1099 forms for our business clients. Another piece of her job includes processing of business tax returns. Aggie enjoys music and traveling to Sweden to spend time with family whenever she can. She is a certified massage therapist and is in the process of building her business. Ext. 117

 

Connie Fishman - Billing department manager, administrative support

Connie is originally from Springfield, Mass. She is the brains behind our billing system. Her organizational skills and detail-oriented approach are invaluable to the office. Her positive and outgoing personality is equally important, helping Connie interact well with everyone - office staff, clients, vendors and business associates. She is always willing to help anyone in the office that may need some back up. A perfect weekend for her is easy, since she lives close to the Channel Island shoreline. She enjoys walking the beach and spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Daneille Smith-Fricke - Staff Accountant

DanielleAfter a brief respite in the private area, Daneille is returning to public accounting. She has a Bachelors' of Science in Business Administration with an emphasis in Accounting from the University of La Verne. Daneille also holds a Juris Doctorate from Ventura College of Law and recently passed the CPA exam. Her vast amount of work experience includes construction companies, retail/wholesale and manufacturing. Daneille is married with three children and lives in Moorpark. She enjoys shopping, traveling and anything to do with Paul McCartney.

Fan Chang - Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable

FanFan is professional and hard working, balancing key responsibilities for our team. In addition to managing Storm-Larsen's accounting, creating additional ad-hoc reporting as needed, she is also the lead person for the backroom supervising tax return processing during tax season. She has a new grandchild that she loves to babysit and is becoming an avid swimmer.

Jean Teffeteller Tax processing / Receptionist

She came to Storm-Larsen in February 2011 to work in the back office scanning and packaging tax returns. When Ragnar offered her a position as Receptionist for the “off” tax season she gladly accepted. She has found it both exciting and challenging learning the various behind the scenes aspects of the tax processes. Her family moved to Newbury Park in 1970 from Glendale, California where she was born and raised. Since that time they have stayed in the Ventura County area moving to Moorpark and then Fillmore. They find themselves in the Conejo Valley much of the time since they have family and friends here. Jean and her husband Rex just celebrated 45 years of marriage and enjoy spending time with their 3 children, their spouses along with 10 grandchildren and 1 great granddaughter.

Jennie LaPerche Receptionist

Jennie was born and raised in Southern California. She has lived in Newbury Park for 40 years and has enjoyed being part of a very close knit community. She have been married for 20 year to her husband Chris.They have 3 beautiful teenagers. Their son graduated from Newbury Park High School and is now attending University of Redland. Their two daughters still attend Newbury Park High School. She has recently received her real estate license. We are happy to have her during tax season. Her motto is “Providing customer service beyond the customer’s expectations.”

Lanching Chien - Staff Accountant

Lanching ChienBorn and raised in Hermosa Beach, California. Lanching graduated from California State University, Fullerton with a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration with an emphasis in Accounting. She worked for us as a student, processing individual tax returns and answering client's questions. Lanching is bilingual in both English and Mandarin. After two years of working for Dole Food Company, Inc., she decided to return to Storm-Larsen and Company, Inc. She has been with Storm-Larsen and Company, Inc. for four and a half years. When she's not doing accounting, preparing tax returns or answering questions for you, you can catch her at the beach or spending time with family and friends.

Monique Joannou – Tax processing Supervisor

Monique Joannou grew up in the Conejo Valley. She is a graduate of Westlake High School and received her bachelor’s degree in Business Marketing from Cal State University, Northridge. Monique is currently the backroom Tax Processing supervisor during tax season. Married 22 years and counting, Monique & her husband have three daughters and enjoy traveling. Every year you can catch Monique baking and serving Greek pastries at the annual Ventura County Greek Festival.

Nancy Nelson - Staff Accountant

Nancy Nelson
As a Staff Accountant, she's involved in almost all aspects of our accounting and tax business. Her responsibilities include accounting and tax compliance services to monthly, quarterly and annual clients as well as assistance on many of the audit clients of the firm. She has a good working knowledge of various accounting software programs. She continues to increase her skills and abilities by actively participating in education and training courses. After hours, she is involved with coaching AYSO soccer and always makes time for her family including six grandchildren and reality T.V. shows.

Malia Storm-Larsen - Executive Assistant

MaliaBorn and raised in Westlake Village, Ca. She graduated from California Lutheran University with a degree in Business Administration and an emphasis in International Studies. Her plan is to go back to school to become an Enrolled Agent. She has worked part-time at Storm-Larsen for 13 years. She is now working full-time assistant to Ragnar. She is very conscientious and organized. Malia works hard to keep both Ragnar and the office itself running smoothly. She enjoys working out and traveling.

Mary Helen Storm-Larsen - Billing Department Assistant, Administrative Support

Mary HelenMary Helen is Ragnar's wife and second hand. This year she will be a major support with the front desk greeting all that come in to Storm-Larsen & Company. She is always willing to lend a hand to help and is determined to make sure each client's experience is as pleasant as possible. She is a member of the Agoura Harmony Choir and takes pleasure in taking her dog Spunky for walks.

Richard Vickers - Staff Accountant

RichardHe has over 23 years of accounting and tax knowledge. His experience has been with local Public Accounting firms in Southern California serving the needs of small business clients. He is a graduate of Emory and Henry College, in Virginia, with a BA degree in Economics and from UCLA. Richard is very involved with in his church and as a volunteer for AYSO soccer. He enjoys the outdoors, especially when shared with family & friends.
